OASIS Deliverables

  • Address requests for support, improvement, and new features by current and potential applications such as XGC and WarpX as well as other users of ParaView, VisIt, and Ascent.
  • Strengthen operation of VTK-m on Aurora.
  • Improve documentation with automatic generation and web deployment.
  • Ensure proper building and running at OLCF, ALCF, and NERSC through Spack.

VTK-m Releases

We are due for releasing VTK-m 2.1.1 and 2.2.0. Need some post-ECP organization for this.

When branches are ready, send email to Vicente to do a release. CC Berk; he has a case number to use for this.

Viskores / HPSF

We need to formalize the Technical Steering Committee (TSC). We said this would be the PI's from the ECP project. This would be:

  • Kenneth Moreland
  • Berk Geveci
  • Ollie Lo
  • David Pugmire
  • Mark Bolstad
  • Hank Childs

We need to make sure all everyone is still on board to be part of the TSC. Changes to the TSC can happen through voting.

We need a plan for moving from VTK-m to Viskores. People are already starting to ask about the new name, so we should pull together something soon and have a plan forward. Funding might be a little iffy as well.

Roundtable

Dave working with Jeff on ANARI rendering. Jeff has sent Dave some boilerplate ANARI backend, and Dave is looking into hook into the backend.
