    • Ken added SYCL compile option to spack package. This has been accepted by spack.

Viskores / HPSF

The HPSF has granted us some funding to transition our software from VTK-m to Viskores. This funding will be provided to Kitware.

This Viskores TSC had a meeting last week. The minutes are at https://github.com/Viskores/viskores-tsc/wiki/Meeting-2024%E2%80%9010%E2%80%9029. Here is a summary of what was discussed:

A new code of conduct was adopted.

Vicente Bolea has been admitted as a maintainer of the Viskores repo. This will assist with his work of transitioning the software from VTK-m to Viskores

New members have been voted into the TSC. Welcome Silvio Rizzi, Nicole Marsaglia, Gunther Weber, and Jeff Amstutz.
