Teleconference 2016-06-08
Attendees: Ken Moreland (SNL), Matt Larsen (LLNL), Chris Sewell (LANL), Jeremy Meredith (ORNL), Rob Maynard (Kitware), Berk Geveci (Kitware)
Release of V1.0.0 is out. (Yea!)
The results of the survey on where to have the code sprint are in. The results showed that people were equally happy with Clifton Park, Livermore, and Oregon. After some discussion, we decided that it would be best to rotate the code sprint and to do Oregon at a later time when there will be more students. So Clifton Park it is. As a coarse poll, early August seems to work well for everyone. Berk will send out a poll to allow folks to decide which of the first two weeks work best.
Rob has been tracking down dashboard issues. Have been seeing issues on widows. Have been able to replicate. Appears to be a problem with the CUDA compiler generating some bad code. Tracking down the CUDA issues on Linux. Adding some builds using the rendering library. Still have some unknown problems with clang+maxwell.
Chris has been working on contour tree stuff. Pat Fasil is interested in converting that to VTK-m.
