Venue
The hackathon is held at the UNM Lobo Rainforest Building Seminar Room
101 Broadway Blvd. NE
Albuquerque, NM 87102
Make sure that you park in the designated lot for the UNM Lobo Rainforest Building on the West side or in the public parking on the street. Other lots are checked daily and cars ticketed. In particular, do not park in front of the building on the North side. This larger area is reserved for UNM students and others that pay for parking. You will have to park on the West side and walk around to the north to enter the building.
Our meeting space is labeled the Seminar Room, which is located in the center of the building.
WiFi
The WiFi is Lobo Guest. No password is required.
Communication
We will be using the following folder on Google drive for sharing files:

We also have a group mailing list for attendees: vtk-m-hackathon-2019@googlegroups.com.
Travel
Flights
The Albuquerque Sunport (ABQ) is about a 15 minute drive from the UNM Lobo Rainforest Building. Although not a large airport, it is serviced by all major airlines.
Hotel
We have no hotel room block reserved, so you are on your own.
The Hotel Parq Centeral, which is quite nearby, is supposed to be quite nice but is pricey. The Hyatt Regency Albuquerque is pretty close and more reasonably priced. There are several other hotels in the vicinity as well (but I would avoid cheap motels on Central Avenue). There are also several options next to the airport.
Getting Around
It is best not to have to rely on public transportation to get around in Albuquerque. It is best to rent a car to get around town. Ride sharing (Lyft and Uber) as well as traditional taxi service is also readily available for those who prefer not to drive.
Food
Due to DOE policy, we will not be able to provide any food or drink. You are on your own. However, with downtown just to the west and UNM just to the east, there are several restaurant options nearby.
Contact
If you have any questions about the hackathon, send email to Ken Moreland at kmorel@sandia.gov.
