Hank, Dave P., James Kress had a kickoff meeting on particle advection. Plan to base the interface off a similar system in VisIt.

Samual Li is finishing a wavelet encoder.

Alberto has started with basic profiling on KNL to discuss the profiling results. Going to create a new branch to work on that. Alberto will try to schedule some time at the code sprint.

Clip filter is almost into VTK.

Dave L. took a look at implementing writable composite vec arrays. So far it is a bit more complicated than first blush would suggest.

Dave P. has spending time looking at TAU to do a fair bit of experimentation.
