ECP/VTK-m Project Management

Roundtable

Hackathon reporting.

• Ken was able to identify a critical problem with VTK-m and the Intel compiler.
  • Changes to VTK-m and/or the compiler are forthcoming.
• Jeff Amstutz made progress integrating VTK-m with ANARI.
  • An interop::anari package has been added to VTK-m.
  • Jeff will work on documentation and improvements such as more efficient memory transfer.
• Dave Pugmire talked about a new interface for the rendering subsystem
  • Iterated on what the API might look like for parallel rendering
• Silvio Rizzi going to start meeting bi-weekly with Intel engineers
